My weekend~~*

My weekend was eh ok.  I have been on and off sick for 2 weeks now and I am suffering horribly from migraines which has been keeping me down.  I am a totally baby right now because I never really even get headaches so when my eyes are burning from looking at any light and my whole head is throabing I might be over reacting a bit.

Saturday we stayed in.  It was a gorgeous morning but as afternoon came the rain came and so did the wind and so the pine trees decided to puke all over my road make it look like my road was make of dead pine needs.  Not to safe to walk on bare foot I might add

I have to say how much I love Wisconsin also.  I might not love it and complain in the next few months because of the snow but I could never move away because of the colors.  The trees just started to change so I will have a lot more pictures later.  But this tree is in our yard and if you look close enough that bright pink thing is my daughter climbing her favorite tree

Speaking of her she had another volleyball practice early Saturday and boy did she rock it!!  She was getting compliments from the high school coach left and right.  She was better than most 5th graders that have been practicing since the 3rd grade.  She is such a little pro.  This week she practiced under hand serving and passing.  She rocked both

Sunday we played at the park and played some family basketball. No photos though and we came home and cooked supper and went to sleep early nothing exciting there.

Oh before I forget we also got our photos back.  There weren't many poses because all the girls were crabby and tired.  Thank god my sister in law does them for us!

Rolled Bun

I love the fact my oldest daughter loved buns.  I have so much fun.  Today we have a photo shoot for our family so I wanted to try something new and it is a winner.  It is so gorgeous, simple and yet elegant.  She loves it too which is a bonus!

My Volleyball Star

My oldest girl Mallory had her first practice of Volleyball this morning.  Let me tell you it wasn't easy 3 weeks ago when I told her I wanted to try it out and if she didn't like it she didn't have to go back since it is only for 3 weeks.

Well she cried and threw a horrid fit and there was a lot of eye rolling but she decided in the end to try it.

So after practice today I asked her if she didn't want to go back and she yelled!  I LOVE IT I cannot wait for next week!!!  She was a complete natural.  The ball went over the net every single time in perfect form.  I was so proud of here and she was completely in love with volleyball.  I cannot wait for next summer we have a volleyball net right down the road for public use.

In the end I think it is important not to push your child into sports but have them try it and see how they like it.  Some kids are made for some sports while others are not but you should always at least try.  There is just something about being at the school gym watching them practice at 8 AM amazing and something to set your day wonderful!  So make them try it, keep them active and healthy.

No cavities!!

So our dentist stinks and they kept changing dentists which ended up pushing the girls cleaning back and instead of going back every 6 months it took up 18 months to finally get back there.  But of course in the end of having two daughters in different rooms and trying to contain a 15 month old who did not want to be held but wanted to run free.  We did it and there were no cavities!  We took a little break of course and stopped out to see my dad because the girls were tired of the car ride.  Did I mention it takes 90 mins each way to get to the dentist?  Well we stopped out by my dad because he lives out that way and it was fun to visit and talk and eat.  He lives in a small town of population 222 and lives in  house next door where we grew up so I love going there and telling the girls I use to jump over those trees that are now taller than the house!  I use to go to that school that is now worn down to nothing.  The town was thriving when I was a child with schools, grocery stores and more but now the grocery store is made into two apartments and the school is a play center for kids once every few days.  It is sad to see that is has gone down hill but such great memories to share with the kiddos

oh and can I please brag on how awesome my 5 year old is.  She has been saying this for over a year and this is also her favorite show.  Yes she is awesome because she wants to be Xena when she grows up! haha

another little helper

I have to say with 2 out of 3 in school I am quite bored.  I get done cleaning 10x faster, I have time to catch up on old seasons of TV shows I have not been able to watch, pinning more, finding myself walking around thinking of stuff to do since my youngest is only awake from 8:30 -11 and naps from 11-3:30 then the girls get off the bus at 3:45!

Today was fun though, I was digging around and found everything I needed to make Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins and oh did they turn out amazing!!  But this round I had a helper that has never helped me before

This was Lolo's first time baking with me and she did pretty amazing!  She stirred, poured flour, got mad because she didn't get to touch the eggs and ate all my pecans.  After I put them in the oven and I put her down for a nap and she got to wake up to an amazing snack!  I will slowly find more and more things to do around the house but all in time.  We are both missing her big sisters while they are at school.  You can only take walks, dance and play so much before mommy becomes boring.

What have you been doing on your days home while the kids are at school?

Back to school

Mallory is my 3rd grader

Anna is my Kindergartner

I got up at 5 and did my day of Insanity and then got myself ready for the day.  Mallory woke up at 6:15 to shower and Anna woke up at 6:30.  They fixed their beds, we made eggs, toast and bananas for breakfast, brushed teeth, fixed hair, made sure everything was in their backpacks and then off to school!!

Anna wanted me to come out to the bus stop with her but I still didn't get a hug or a kiss or anything which made me a sad mommy but watching Mallory hold Anna's hand all the way onto the bus and sat with her!

Mallory is excited because her two best friends are in the same class and sitting by each other which won't last long haha

Anna already knows her where her class and and what number to press for her lunch!

I cannot wait until they come home

and yes sweaters it was 47* this morning brrrrr
